Choices

Maintenance: By zeroing in on particular muscle groups and working specific tissues, motion and muscle flexibility are enhanced. The overall objective is to help the athlete reach optimum performance through injury-free training. Offered throughout training and off-season.

Rehabilitation or Orthopedic: Focusing on the management of acute or chronic muscle-tendon-joint related injuries, rehabilitative massage is a key component used to speed up recovery and return the athlete to training. When appropriate, the massage techniques are employed in collaboration with other medical care.

 

Pre-Event Massage: Given within four hours of an event - reduces excess muscle and mental tension, enhances circulation and improves muscle and tissue pliability. Used as a supplement to the warm-up.


Intra-Event Massage: Given between events or during time-outs to help the athlete recover from the preceding activity and prepare for up-coming activities.


Post-event Treatment: Reduces muscle soreness and metabolic waste build-up helping the athlete to recover quicker and reduce potential injuries.
